THE HOUSE
A point of view
THE ORIGIN OF DIONE
In ancient mythology, Dione is remembered as the mother of Aphrodite, the origin from which beauty itself emerges.
But where Aphrodite represents beauty in it’s visible form, Dione speaks to something deeper: the source, the foundation, the quite force that allows beauty to exist. This idea defines the house.
A HOUSE, NOT A CATALOG
Dione Import House is not built on volume, trend, or season. It is built on selection, on knowing what to bring forward and what to leave behind. Each piece enters the house for a reason, it’s material, it’s balance, it’s permanence.
ON CHOOSING
Across cultures, there are traditions that value time over speed and craft over convenience. These are the traditions we seek. From seasonal decor and sculpted marble to the language of textile, each expression reflects a distinct heritage. We do not preserve them as relics, but allow them to endure the relevance in the present.
BETWEEN CULTURES
The House exists between worlds. Between origin and destination, between artisan and collector.
What passes through is not simply traded. It is understood, refined, and brought forward with intent.
